Fees and Scholarships

 
The family participation fee varies from year to year. This can be paid in a lump sum initially or paid in installments from November to March. The chapter also participates in fund-raising events with the largest one held in the spring time. Specific fee information will be given during the informational sessions.

The Participation Fee includes:

• Round-trip airfare
  
• Food, lodging, and transportation in Latin America
• All project related supplies
• Training materials and workshops
• Supervisory Project Staff
• 24-hour emergency contact when in-country
  
• International medical insurance
  
  

Additional Cost:

• Immunizations and medical examinations
• Passport/visa fees
• Personal items, such as cot, medications and mosquito repellent/netting.
  

Scholarships:

Partial scholarships are available from the International Office as well as the Austin Chapter based on proven financial need. Information on scholarships is provided during the informational sessions.
